The University of Delaware Division 2 men’s hockey team has announced their 33-game 2018-19 regular season schedule.
As they did last season, the Blue Hens will begin their season on the road at Millersville (Pa.) on Friday, Sept. 14 before hosting the Navy Midshipmen on Sunday, Sept. 16. The regular season concludes with a four-game homestand in February.
All 18 home games will be split between the Fred Rust Arena and the Gold Arena, both on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark, Del. The full schedule can be accessed here.
The schedule includes a full slate of 12 Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey (MACH) conference games, including home-and-home series with South Division rivals Maryland, Liberty and Stevenson. The Hens will also take on a trio of teams from the North Division, facing New Jersey-based rivals Rowan and Rider in home-and-home series while hosting defending MACH champion Penn State for a two-game set late in the fall portion of the season.
Non-conference highlights include a two-game series at Florida Gulf Coast University in January, a home-and-home series with former MACH rival Virginia Tech, and a matchup with the Towson (Md.) University Division 1 team.
Delaware Hockey Night Radio will provide extensive coverage of the Delaware Division 2 team for the second consecutive year, offering a 26-game broadcast schedule at www.dehockeynight.com in addition to postseason coverage to be announced.
